She is a Korean-American author/illustrator and has spent eight years as a freelance artist at a licensing company, whose images appear at Target, Walmart, DaySpring, and other retailers, and four years at Reedsy as a children’s book illustrator and designer after graduating from Savannah College of Art and Design with an MFA in Illustration. She has received many awards including the Young Blood Illustration Award, Low Country Artist Award, and Featured Artist of Annual No7 Children’s Show in the 3×3 Illustration. She enjoys hiking with her husband and son, daydreaming, cooking, and reading when she is not illustrating.
